Absinthe Montmartre has been prepared according to original recipes from the archives of the Alt-Wiener-Schnapsmuseum and according to original, historical absinthe samples. We've used exclusively grand wormwood, Florentine fennel, anis and angelica seeds, as well as a few little secrets to round it all off. These fine herbs have been soaked and distilled, with only the center cut of the distillate being used.
Absinthe Montmartre has been colored exclusively with natural herbs (Pontic wormwood, hyssop, balm and mint). We are proud to have produced this fine distillate in complete loyalty to the original (without thinning, oils, or other additions) for connoisseurs of absinthe, according to time-honored tradition. Since our archives contain various types of absinthe recipes (Methode Française et Suisse, as well as ones from Vienna, Turin, and Bohemia), we have decided to produce three limited editions (2,000 bottles each).
